Casie Kempke

Owner, trainer, instructor

Casie has worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and fitness instructor for over a decade and after completing her bachelor's of science in Kinesiology at Cal State San Marcos she decided to open Be_Fitness.  After building her clientele and out growing her previous place, Be_Fitness moved to its current location in Escondido.  Her passion is to help people become stronger, fitter and happier versions of themselves through safe, fun and challenging workouts.  Her goal is for people to leave feeling better than when they came!  Casie holds a certification in NASM Personal training, NASM corrective exercise, Pilates and mat exercise, indoor cycling and youth training.

In her personal life, Casie enjoys traveling with her son, running, and reading.

Amber Schmaltz

TRX instructor

Amber started her fitness journey three years ago by taking Pilates classes with Casie twice a week.  She soon developed a love for exercise and the TRX; she became TRX certified last October and currently teaches TRX bootcamp twice a week at Be_Fitness.  Amber knows first hand how fitness can change your life if you stay dedicated.  Her energy motivates participants to give their best and her encouraging attitude keeps them coming back.  She is all about seeing strength and confidence progress with each class.  

In her free time she enjoys staying in shape by rock climbing, hiking and doing HIIT Classes.

Chelsea Martin

Yoga instructor
Chelsea’s passion for yoga began over a decade ago when she first experienced the benefits of yoga. This initial infatuation inspired her to complete a 200 hr RYT certificate from Soul of Yoga and begin teaching in 2005. Her interest in health and wellness led her to earn a BS in Kinesiology and a 500 Hour RYT certificate from Radiantly Alive in Bali, Indonesia.The journey as a Yoga instructor has allowed Chelsea to teach at a wide range of studios and gyms, host yoga destination retreats, and provide private instruction for students of all ages. Her practice is a blend of Hatha yoga with Anusara principles. Through positive affirmations and breath work, she enables her students to achieve a meditative flow. Chelsea pays special attention to students’ needs through observation as she watches them closely to give insight for adjustments and modifications to promote pain relief and prevent injury.

Celine Stewart

Yoga Instructor

Celine is a CYT 200hr, Hatha Yoga Teacher. She started practicing yoga in 2011 after she took a Hatha Yoga class and fell in love with how the experience made her feel. Wanting to dive deeper into Yoga she took a teacher training in Encinitas in 2017. She likes to spend her time studying to be a Herbal Healer, going camping, eating nourishing foods and teaching yoga locally in Escondido & San Diego.

Renee Sattler

TRX and Circuit instructor

Renee has a deep-rooted passion in fitness and helping people stay well and healthy. Through her career as a Registered Nurse, she has learned a lot about wellbeing and the importance of physical exercise and being active. Her own relationship with fitness led her to pursue the AFAA Fitness Cert so that she could better serve clients and their exercise needs. Her goals are to assist clients with becoming healthier and happier, and having fun while doing it! In her free time, Renee loves traveling, hiking, exploring local hangouts and spending time with her husband, daughter and four-legged child.
